December 1 is World AIDS Day. Although the Faith Alive Hospital in Jos, Nigeria, now provides care in many different areas, about 37% of patient visits are AIDS related. Thats about 12,000 patient visits per year. The Hospital got its start in 1995 to combat the AIDS epidemic that was sweeping through Nigeria and Western Africa. Each December 1, the Hospital staff and patients gather and remember those lost to the disease and the people who cared for them. Please help us continue the fight by praying for patients and providers, learning more about this worthy mission, and supporting us financially if you can. www.faithaliveusa.org
